Acropolis Group of Institutions strongly believes that Industrial visits/ tours significantly aid in the holistic development of the aspiring students of various streams as engineering, pharmacy, and management providing an excellent platform for hands-on learning with the Company professionals. It helps in bridging the gap between the academics and real life experiences, a much needed break from the usual overcast theory classes and fun – learning, outside the four walls of the college and help students understand the importance of collaborative approach for enhanced effectiveness and achieving targets. The company culture also helps students perceive how in the future their life exposure will be.
The Industry Institute Partnership Cell of Acropolis Group provides a platform for both the students as well as faculty members to be aware of industry expectations of skill sets required to meet the Global challenges. It also enables Faculty to get acquainted with the latest industry trends, expectations and train in students to meet these expectations.
An Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) is designed to create a symbiotic relationship between academia and industry.
Key Objectives
It involves partnerships between companies, academia, or research institutions to jointly develop new technologies, products, or services. These alliances enable shared costs, access to specialized expertise, accelerated innovation cycles, and reduced risks. Common forms include sponsored research, joint ventures, and technology licensing, often aimed at enhancing competitiveness and addressing complex technical challenges.
Consulting research projects involve structured investigations to solve specific business, operational, or policy problems, spanning strategy, IT, and specialized analysis like ESG or social impact assessment. These projects generally entail diagnosing problems, analyzing industries, and delivering actionable strategic recommendations. IIPC constantly keeps exploring new Case Research Writing, Engineering Projects, and keenly focuses on establishment of new divisions/ labs etc.
Various leading industry experts from the areas as CHRO, Entrepreneurs, HR leaders, Marketing, Cybersecurity, Finance, Entrepreneurs etc. are being regularly invited to have an interactive session with the students and the Faculty fraternity.
As per our Academic Curriculum, and University norms students are expected to visit prominent industries/ companies for an exposure to acquire understanding and practical learning about the latest trends, professional culture, etc. The able guidance of the industry unit supervisor/ unit HR will also help our students learn new insights during interaction.
MoUs structure partnerships to share resources, conduct joint projects, or enhance research. Establishes ground rules for collaboration and outlines mutual goals.
Management Development Programs (MDPs) play a pivotal role in strengthening industry-institute partnerships by acting as a bridge between academic theory and practical business application. These programs, offered by top B-schools and institutes to working professionals, create a reciprocal relationship where institutions gain insights into current industry problems, and companies receive training to boost employee competency.
IIPC identifies industry skill gaps and guide and prepares students through workshops, interactive sessions in various domains like management, engineering, pharmaceuticals, CSIT, AIML etc.
Partnerships facilitate expert lectures and seminars to familiarize faculty and students with the latest industrial practices.
Companies collaborate to provide industrial training, internships, and final placement opportunities to students.
Institutions engage in consultancy services, sponsored projects, and joint research ventures with industries to develop products or solve technical issues.
Various industry support in sponsorship as well as their brand promotion. Acropolis Group of Institutions (AGI) also have become Knowledge Partner at events apart from receiving various sponsored products from different industries.

Partnerships / MoUs
MoUs have been signed with the various companies in different domains and under the umbrella if IIPC for different Institutes, as AITR, AIPER, AIMSR, AFMR under the flagship banner of Acropolis Group of Institutions. The various sectors are IT/ITES, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Mechanical Engineering etc. under which the MoUs have been signed so far.
One of the latest achievement is signing an MOU with “Ultratech Cement Pvt. Ltd.”, for Civil Department, AITR.
Committee
To promote the industrial training, consultancy, research projects and MDPs it has been decided to constitute a Institute Industry Partnership Cell (IIPC). The primary task of IIPC would be to contact industries and acquire industrial training, consultancy, research projects and MDP assignments.
